Maya is truly the sweetest dog. She has a sixth sense of knowing when someone is hurting, an instinct not all dogs have. She is hyper -focused. In training or working that is fantastic, when chasing shadows that is annoying. lol

Maya is named after my favorite scripture, Jeremiah 29:11. "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

I firmly believe that scripture with all my being.
