Hope is a dog I never knew I'd get. She is an import from Croatia. The day after Georgia died, I knew I needed to replace her in the breeding program and I knew I wanted to short, stocky, blocky girl. My friend, who has imported before, set to researching for me.
Two days after Georgia died, I woke up to a sweet picture of Hope as a 7 week old puppy (see the pic below). I immediately put down a deposit. My heart was not ready for another dog, but thankfully, Hope wasn't able to travel for another 3 1/2 months. By then, I knew I'd be ready.
Hope is named after Romans 15:13. "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit". This dog is my Hope after Georgia. (go to Georgia's bio page to read her story)
