Lizzie was our keeper pup from our very first litter. For one reason or another, we just ended up not breeding her. She is technically my daughter's dog, so Lizzie will have a home at IGR for the rest of her days. She is lazy, fat and loved. She is my "lesson learned" about not letting a dog get fat, because I tell you what, it's been almost impossible to get weight off her. Never again will I let a dog get as big as Liz without intervening earlier.

Liz is named after Elizabeth Burke, a character in our favorite TV show, White Collar. That was the show we were all watching when needing to choose a name for the pup.
