Step 1: Apply & WAITLIST DEPOSIT

Each person interested in purchasing an IGR puppy must complete the Puppy Application.  Once your application is received we will be in touch via email letting you know if your application is approved. Make sure to add our email (integritygoldenretrievers@gmail.com) to your contacts so our response doesn’t go to spam.

If your application is approved you will have the option to get on our waitlist by placing a $100 Waitlist Deposit. This is a “rolling waitlist”, meaning your position on the waitlist is based on the date we receive your deposit. When we have a puppy available, we will always first reach out to those who have placed a $100 deposit to get on our waitlist.

Step 2: LITTER COMMITMENT

Once mama is in heat, we’ll reach out to everyone who has placed a Waitlist Deposit to see who would like to declare interest in that specific litter. If more families respond than the number of puppies we anticipate, spots will be offered in the order Waitlist Deposits were received. If your deposit was placed earlier, you’ll receive priority placement on that litter’s list. Once all the spots are filled for each litter, we’ll begin communicating with that group of families regarding deposit instructions and payment plan for their litter.

STEP 3: PUPPIES BORN

Once the puppies are born, a deposit is due to officially reserve your puppy. You’ll begin receiving regular updates with a recap of what we’ve accomplished with the pups the previous week as well as goals for the next week. We’ll also share important details Open House dates and anticipated go-home timelines. The Puppy Guide, that Christine has written, will be mailed to you so you can start learning and preparing to welcome your pup home. Then it’s time to sit back and enjoy the seemingly never ending social media content as we do the work to prepare your puppy for you.

STEP 4: OPEN HOUSE

When babies are about 4-5 weeks old, we host an Open House for those who have placed deposits on those pups, if timing and space allow.  It’s simply a time where you and your family can come and spend time with the babies.  If you follow our social media, especially Facebook, you’ll already start falling in love with a few of them.  There are very regular posts on social media – so if you don’t have Facebook, you’ll be missing out alot!

STEP 5: PUPPY PLACEMENT

As the pups are growing we get to know all the families in order to learn what you are looking for in your pup. At 7 weeks old we will use the Volhard Temperament Test to temperament test the puppies. Puppies all have unique personalities and Christine will use her experience and expertise to give you the perfect match! When pups are 8 weeks old, each family will be scheduled to come to our home and pick up their pup. We’ll both sign the contract, accept final payment and finally, take your family pic, then you are off on your way home.  Christine is always available for the life of your dog to support you and be available to answer questions.  You choose how connected to the IGR family you’d like to be.  Basically, we’re here if you need us.
