Step 1: Apply

Each person interested must complete the Puppy Application.  Once your application is received we will be in touch via email letting you know if your application is approved. Make sure to add our email (integritygoldenretrievers@gmail.com) to your contacts so our response doesn’t go to spam.

Step 2: INITIAL Deposit

If your application is approved you will have the option to get on our waitlist by placing a $100 Commitment Deposit. This is a “rolling waitlist” meaning your position on the waitlist is based on the date I receive your deposit. I will always first reach out to those who have placed a $100 Commitment Deposit with an offer of a puppy before I reach out to those who are approved but have not placed a deposit.

Step 3: WAIT

If I don’t have any current pups available, your contact info will go on my spreadsheet and I’ll stay in contact now and then via email.  Please add my email to your contacts so future communication doesn’t go to your spam folder.  Once I have a litter on the way, I’ll communicate first with those who have placed a Commitment Deposit to see if they are interested in a pup once they arrive and I know how many I have available.  If after going through the list of those with Commitment Deposits on file and then there are still pups available, then I’ll reach out to those on the regular waitlist (aka those without a deposit placed).  

STEP 4: PUPPIES BORN

Once puppies are born, I will begin communicating with the families of those pups via email. It’s during those emails that deposit details, payment plan, Open House dates and go-home dates will be communicated.

STEP 5: WATCH THEM GROW

Now you are officially a part of the IGR Puppy Family! The Puppy Guide that Christine has written will be mailed to you, occasional emails will be sent along with seemingly never ending social media content.

STEP 6: OPEN HOUSE & 2nd deposit

When babies are about 4-5 weeks old, I host an Open House for those who have placed deposits on those pups if timing and space allow.  It’s simply a time where you and your family can come and spend time with the babies.  If you follow our social media, especially Facebook, you’ll already start falling in love with a few of them.  I post very regularly on social media – so if you don’t have Facebook, you’ll be missing out alot!

STEP 7: PUPPY PLACEMENT & final PAYMENT

As the pups are growing I get to know all the families in order to learn what you are looking for in your pup. After the Volhard Temperament Testing is completed at 7 weeks old, I match puppies and families. Once pups are 8 weeks old I’ll schedule each of the families to come to my home and pick up their pup. We’ll both sign the contract, accept final payment and finally, take your family pic, then you are off on your way home.  I am always available for the life of your dog to support you and be available to answer questions.  You choose how connected to the IGR family you’d like to be.  Basically, I’m here if you need me.
